BECKLEY – A Beckley woman alleges an auto accident in Raleigh County caused her to incur more than $3,000 in medical expenses.

Carol Sue Aurednik filed a complaint in Raleigh Circuit Court against Kerri Lynn Burley and EAN Holdings LLC and FMRS Health Systems alleging negligence.

According to the complaint, on Oct. 14, 2016, the plaintiff was traveling on Route 41 in Raleigh County when Burley, who was operating a vehicle entrusted to her by EAN Holdings and FMRS Health Systems, collided with the plaintiff's vehicle. She alleges she sustained serious injuries to her neck and incurred medical expenses of more than $3,200 as a result of the accident.

The plaintiff holds Burley and EAN Holdings LLC and FMRS Health Systems responsible because defendant Burley negligently operated the vehicle in such a manner as to cause it to collide with plaintiff's vehicle.

The plaintiff requests a trial by jury and seeks damages in an amount as justified by evidence. She is represented by Anthony M. Salvatore of Hewitt & Salvatore PLLC in Fayetteville.

The case has been assigned to Circuit Judge John A. Hutchison.
