LOGAN — A passenger is suing a vehicle driver and owner, alleging negligence caused a crash that injured the plaintiff.
Brittany Marcum of Verdunville filed a complaint in Logan Circuit Court against Mont Bryant and Word of Life Church, alleging failure to maintain control of their respective vehicles.
According to the complaint, on Oct. 2, 2016, Marcum was a passenger in a vehicle driven by Bryant when they were involved in a crash with Word of Life's vehicle in Verdunville. Marcum says she sustained injuries to her back, neck and head.
The plaintiff alleges Bryant and Word of Life Church failed to keep properly look out and failed to yield.
Marcum seeks trial by jury, all damages, with interest, court costs and all other just and proper relief. She is represented by attorney Robert B. Kuenzel of Kuenzel Law PLLC in Chapmanville.
