Freightliner tractor passenger accuses operators of negligence

RIPLEY — An Ohio woman is suing Freightliner tractor operators, alleging negligence caused a rollover that injured the plaintiff.

Heather M. Fraley of Deerfield, Ohio, filed a complaint in Jackson Circuit Court against Waylon A. Ream and Highway Trucking LLC, alleging Ream negligently, carelessly and recklessly operated a Highway Trucking's Freightliner tractor.

According to the complaint, on Oct. 9, 2016, Fraley was a passenger in a Highway Trucking Freightliner tractor when in rolled over on Interstate Highway 77 in Ripley. She says she sustained severe and serious injuries, including a closed head injury, contusions to her right eyeball, injury to her right hand and fingers and shock to her nerves and nervous system. 

The plaintiff alleges Ream negligently operated the Freightliner tractor on S curves and lost control of the vehicle, causing it to roll over.

Fraley seeks trial by jury, all damages, attorney fees, court costs and all other appropriate relief. She is represented by attorney George R. Farneth II of The Farneth Law Group LLC in Wellsburg.
