HUNTINGTON – A Cabell County resident is seeking damages from a Huntington business after he allegedly was injured in a fight there.

Christopher Johnson filed a complaint in Cabell Circuit Court against D.P.M. Inc., doing business as Club Inn Between, et al. alleging premises liability and negligence.

According to the complaint, the plaintiff alleges that on Feb. 11, he was a customer of Club Inn Between when he was injured during an attack by a group of intoxicated patrons. He alleges he sustained a laceration, contusion and permanent scarring as a result.

The plaintiff holds D.P.M. Inc., et al. responsible because the defendants allegedly failed to provide adequate security and failed to protect their patrons in the event of a fight.

The plaintiff requests a trial by jury and seeks compensatory and punitive damages, with interest, attorney's fees, costs and such other just and proper relief. He is represented by Michael M. Cary of Cary Law Office PLLC in Charleston.
