Capital project manager alleges petrochemical company owes unpaid wages

WAYNE — A capital project manager is suing a petrochemical company, alleging violation of workers compensation acts.

Duane E. Porter of Worthington, Kentucky, filed a complaint in Wayne Circuit Court against Braskem America Inc., alleging violation of the Wage Payment and Collection Act.

According to the complaint, Porter was damaged financially for not receiving full wages within the next payday after he was terminated involuntarily Aug. 8. The plaintiff alleges Braskem America has failed to pay timely wages after his termination.

Porter seeks trial by jury, compensatory, statutory and liquidated damages, costs, attorney fees and all other lawful and equitable relief. He is represented by attorney James D. McQueen Jr. of McQueen Davis PLLC in Huntington.
