Used car business alleges buyers owe $192,000

KINGWOOD — A Morgantown used automobile dealer is suing a trucking company, alleging breach of an agreement in failing to pay more than $192,000.

Larew's Used Cars LLC filed a complaint in Preston Circuit Court against Rock Hard Trucking LLC and John Mayle, alleging failure to perform their obligations under the terms of the contract.

According to the complaint, on three separate occasions, Oct. 1, 2015, Dec. 1, 2015, and June 9, 2017, the defendants agreed to purchase tow vehicles from the plaintiff. To date, the suit says, the total amount of $192,500 remains due and owing. 

The plaintiff alleges Rock Hard Trucking and Mayle rcontinued to use the vehicles but refused to pay the balance owed.

Larew's Used Cars seeks trial by jury, judgment sufficient to compensate it for the monetary damages, court costs, interest, attorney fees and all other appropriate relief. It is represented by attorneys William C. Brewer and J. Tyler Slavey of Brewer & Giggenbach PLLC in Morgantown.
