PINEVILLE — An interest owner is suing oil and gas well operators, citing alleged breach of contract.

Summit Resources Inc. filed a complaint in Wyoming Circuit Court against Eagle Energy Inc. and Edward L. Stillie alleging that they failed to properly develop, operate and maintain oil and gas wells subject to an agreement.

According to the complaint, Summit Resources alleges that it has been financially damaged by not receiving a single revenue payment due under the terms of its agreement with the defendants. It holds Eagle Energy Inc. and Edward L. Stillie responsible because they allegedly failed to properly allocate costs and revenues and refused to provide financial information and revenue payments.

The plaintiff requests a trial by jury and seeks an accounting/audit of the accounts and records, and award for compensatory and statutory damages, attorney's fees, costs and interest and all other relief that is legal and equitable. It is represented by Nicholas S. Preservati of Spilman Thomas & Battle PLLC in Charleston.
