Car accident 35

HUNTINGTON — A pedestrian is suing a vehicle owner and a driver, citing alleged negligence.

Latrece Froe filed a complaint in Cabell Circuit Court against Midtown Used Auto LLC and Nathaniel Fetty-King, alleging that Fetty-King failed to maintain control of Midtown's vehicle.

According to the complaint, Froe alleges that on Dec. 17, 2016, she was crossing at the crosswalk near the intersection of 8th Avenue and 16th Street in Huntington when she was violently struck by the defendants' vehicle. She sustained serious injuries to her leg and other parts of her body, requiring surgery and hospitalization.

She holds Midtown Used Auto LLC and Nathaniel Fetty-King responsible because Fetty-King failed to maintain careful lookout and negligently drove through the intersection against a red light.

The plaintiff requests a trial by jury and seeks all damages, plus interest, attorney's fees and expenses and such other appropriate relief. She is represented by Shawn R. Romano and Miles B. Berger of Romano & Associates PLLC in Charleston.
