Advertising company claims law firm violated contract

HUNTINGTON — An advertising company is suing a legal service provider, citing alleged breach of advertising contract.

Ogden Directories Inc. d/b/a EZ to Use.com filed a complaint in Cabell Circuit Court against Waters Law Group PLLC alleging that it failed to perform its obligations under the terms of the contract.

According to the complaint, Ogden Directories alleges that between 2016 and 2017, it provided advertising and marketing services to the defendant on an open account agreement. As of the filing of the complaint, the sum of $7,415, interest included, remains due and owing.

The plaintiff holds Waters Law Group PLLC responsible because it allegedly failed to pay for the advertising and marketing services provided.

The plaintiff requests a trial by jury and seeks damages in the amount of $7,415, plus accumulating interest, costs and such other and further relief deemed appropriate. It is represented by Ryan S. Marsteller of Bailes, Craig & Yon PLLC in Huntington.
