Trucking company claims repair service damaged its vehicles

WINFIELD — A trucking company is suing repair service providers, citing alleged negligence and breach of agreement.

Lambert Transfer Company filed a complaint in Putnam Circuit Court against Cornerstone Services of Marietta LLC and John Doe/mechanic, alleging that they failed to timely and properly repair its vehicles.

According to the complaint, Lambert Transfer Company alleges that defendants provided mechanical repair service to three vehicles owned it owned. As a result of the defendants' defective work, the vehicles were severely damaged and were rendered unusable for many months. Lambert Transfer Company has suffered financial loss, loss of income, rental expenses, annoyance and inconvenience. The plaintiff holds Cornerstone Services of Marietta LLC and John Doe/mechanic responsible because they allegedly falsely represented that the vehicles had been fully repaired.

The plaintiff requests a trial by jury and seeks judgment against the defendants, declaring that the invoices sent to the plaintiff are void and unenforceable, and award for all damages, costs, attorney's fees and such other relief that is just and proper. He is represented by Paul M. Stroebel of Stroebel & Johnson PLLC in Charleston.
