Steptoe & Johnson PLLC announces the retirement of E. Dandridge “Dan” McDonald from the active practice of law. Dan joined the firm in 2003 practicing from the Charleston, WV office. He formerly served as Chair of the Public Service Commission of West Virginia and was a Fellow of the Reginald Heber
Smith Community Lawyer Fellowship Program as well as in-house counsel for Ashland Oil, Inc. During his time at the firm, he practiced in the areas of public utility and transportation law, where he received numerous awards showcasing his legal abilities including The Best Lawyers in America®. He also was Peer Review Rated AV by Martindale-Hubbell.
Dan received his LL.B. from the University of Virginia and his undergraduate degree from Yale University. He was a member of the Board of Directors of Mountain State Justice, Inc.
