Couple claims neighbor's failure to maintain septic system damaged their property

MOUNDSVILLE – A couple is seeking damages, claiming that the owner of adjacent property failed to maintain its septic system.

James Regiec and Ginger Regiec filed a complaint in Marshall Circuit Court against Federal Home Loan Mortgage Corp.

According to the complaint, the defendant failed to maintain culverts that ran along the plaintiff's property, resulting in damages to the plaintiff's property.

The defendant is accused of failing to maintain a septic and drainage system.

The plaintiff is seeking all reasonable sums due, attorney's fees and court costs. The plaintiff is represented by Paul Harris of Harris Law Offices in Wheeling.

The case has been assigned to Judge David Hummel Jr.
