State transportation department claims truck driver caused over $11,000 in damages

CHARLESTON — The Department of Transportation claims a driver caused damages to a guardrail and cable barrier.

The West Virginia Department of Transportation Division of Highways filed a complaint in Kanawha Circuit Court against EAN Holdings LLC and Ryan K. Campbell.

According to the complaint, on Feb. 25, 2017, an EAN Holdings truck traveled off the median and struck a cable barrier, guardrail and roadway sign. The alleged damages suffered by the plaintiff total $11,927.22 plus interest.

The defendant is accused of negligence and monetary damages.

The plaintiff is seeking all reasonable sums due, attorney's fees and court costs. The plaintiff is represented by Stacy Jacques in Charleston.

The case has been assigned to Judge Tera L. Salango.
