Car accident 24

PRINCETON —A woman claims her daughter was killed by a drunk driver and is suing for damages.

Teresa Conley, administrator of the estate of her minor daughter, Courtney Danielle Conley, filed a complaint in Mercer Circuit Court against Deborah Stafford Harris, as administrator of the estate of John Elton Harris, and S&S Express Inc.

According to the complaint, on Aug. 10, 2018, 17-year-old Courtney Conley was involved in a car collision that was due to John Harris being under the influence of alcohol and that resulted in her death. Mr. Harris is accused of reckless driving, manslaughter and driving under the influence of alcohol.

Conley holds the defendants responsible because Mr. Harris was driving under the influence and S&S Express sold him the alcohol.

The plaintiff is seeking all reasonable sums due, attorney fees and court costs. She is represented by Lane O. Austin of Sanders & Austin in Princeton.

The case has been assigned to Judge Derek C. Swope.
