CHARLESTON — A woman claims she was terminated from her position due to pregnancy.
Devon Allen filed a complaint in Kanawha Circuit Court against Progressive Casualty Insurance Co. and Amy Hicks.
According to the complaint, the plaintiff is seeking damages for an incident that took place on Aug. 20, 2018, when the plaintiff says she was wrongfully terminated from her position due to her pregnancy.
The defendant is accused of wrongful termination.
The plaintiff is seeking all reasonable sums due, attorney fees and court costs. The plaintiff is represented by Scott Kaminski of Kaminski Law in Charleston.
The case has been assigned to Judge Charles King.
