Paul White Chevrolet alleges customer failed to pay loan in full

CHARLESTON – A Chevrolet dealership alleges a Fayette County resident failed to pay an auto loan in full.

Paul White Chevrolet Inc. filed a complaint in Kanawha Circuit Court against Chelsey R. Adkins alleging default on a contract. 

The suit states that the plaintiff sold a 2015 Chevrolet Malibu to the defendant for the price of $19,057.08 in June 2017. The suit states $14,875.50 of that amount was financed. 

The plaintiff alleges the defendant has defaulted on the loan and still owes $9,987.05.

The plaintiff is seeking repossession and transfer of the vehicle, attorney fees and court costs. The plaintiff is represented by James T. Cooper of the Law Office of James T. Cooper in Charleston.

The case has been assigned to Judge Joanna Tabit.
