Herc Services alleges it is owed more than $140,000 for work on pipeline project

MOUNDSVILLE – A Pennsylvania company alleges the owner of the Mountaineer Xpress Pipeline Project failed to pay more than $143,000 for work it performed.

Herc Services LLC filed a complaint in Marshall Circuit Court against Columbia Gas Transmission LLC alleging unjust enrichment.

The suit states that the plaintiff provided services, materials and labor for the defendant's Mountaineer Xpress Pipeline Project in Marshall and Wetzel counties. The plaintiff alleges the contract price was listed for $340,117.17. 

The defendant allegedly has only paid the plaintiff $196,126.87, leaving a balance of $143,990.30.

The plaintiff is seeking all reasonable sums due, attorney fees and court costs. The plaintiff is represented by Anthony C. Sunseri of Burns White LLC in Wheeling.

The case has been assigned to Circuit Judge Jeffrey Cramer.
