Herc Services alleges Columbia Gas owes more than $140,000 for pipeline work

NEW MARTINSVILLE – A Pennsylvania limited liability company alleges it is owed for work it performed on a pipeline project in Wetzel County.

Herc Services LLC filed a complaint in Wetzel Circuit Court against Columbia Gas Transmission LLC.

The suit states that the plaintiff provided services to the defendant for quantity surveying and cost engineering for the Mountaineer Express Pipeline Project in Marshall and Wetzel counties. The suit states the contract price for the work was $340,117.17.

The plaintiff alleges it is still owed $143,990.30 of the contract price.

The defendant is accused of unjust enrichment.

The plaintiff is seeking all reasonable sums due, attorney fees and court costs. The plaintiff is represented by Anthony C. Sunseri of Burns White LLC in Wheeling.

The case has been assigned to Judge Jeffrey Cramer.
