Stens Specialty Brands alleges Country Power Equipment owes more than $5,000 for goods

PRINCETON – An Indiana company alleges a Princeton business failed to pay for goods it purchased on credit.

Stens Specialty Brands LLC filed a complaint in Mercer Circuit Court against Country Power Equipment LLC and Janice Spangler citing breach of contract and personal guaranty.

The suit states that on March 23, 2010, Spangler submitted a credit application to the plaintiff on behalf of Country Power Equipment LLC to secure or maintain the ability to purchase goods on credit. The suit states the plaintiff sold the defendants certain goods and the defendants received them, but have failed to pay for the goods received. 

The plaintiff alleges it is owed $5,549.21 plus interest.

The plaintiff is seeking all reasonable sums due, attorney fees and court costs. The plaintiff is represented by John R. Keating of Amato and Keating PC in Bethlehem, Pennsylvania. 

The case has been assigned to Judge Mark Willis.
