PRINCETON — A man is suing his employer, alleging he was injured when a light fixture fell and struck him.
Steven Patrick Bailey filed a complaint in Mercer Circuit Court against Green Tek Building Solutions Inc., Cocca Management Inc., and V&R Construction LLC.
The suit states the plaintiff was working on a construction site at 1666 Market St. when an overhead light fixture fell from the ceiling and struck the plaintiff, causing injuries.
The defendant is accused of negligence.
The plaintiff is seeking all reasonable sums due, attorney fees and court costs and trial by jury. The plaintiff is represented by Eric Hayhurst of Hayhurst Law in Morgantown.
The case has been assigned to Judge Derek Swope.
