Triton Construction worker claims he was injured by a concrete roller

CHARLESTON—A man is suing his employer alleging that he was injured by a concrete roller.

Timothy Meadows filed a complaint in Kanawha County Circuit Court against Triton Construction Inc.

The suit states that the plaintiff was employed by the defendant at the time of the incident. On June 24, 2017 the plaintiff was replacing a portion of tarmac when the machine the plaintiff was using began to malfunction. The plaintiff was caused injury when his right leg was caught in the concrete roller machine as it malfunctioned.

The defendant is accused of deliberate intent.

The plaintiff is seeking all reasonable sums due, attorney fees and court costs. The plaintiff is represented by Greg A Hewitt of Hewitt & Salvatore in Fayetteville.

The case has been assigned to Judge Louis H. Bloom.
