Woman claims she was struck by Hampton Inn driver

CHARLESTON — A woman is suing a hotel operator, alleging her car was struck by a negligent company driver.

Janice McCamey filed a complaint in Kanawha Circuit Court against Francesca George and Hospitality Ventures LLC, dba Hampton Inn Southridge Centre.

The suit states that on Nov. 24, 2017 the plaintiff was driving her vehicle on Smith Street eastbound. The defendant allegedly was negligently driving a vehicle and failed to stop at an intersection, striking the plaintiff's vehicle and resulting in damages physical and economical to the plaintiff.

The defendant is accused of negligence.

The plaintiff is seeking all reasonable sums due, attorney fees and court costs. The plaintiff is represented by Charles Love IV of The Love Law Firm in Charleston.

The case has been assigned to Judge Carrie Webster.
