Joe Holland Chevrolet is accused of selling man a lemon

CHARLESTON — A man is suing a dealership, alleging a new car he purchased from the dealership is a lemon.

Dmitri Beverly filed a complaint in Kanawha Circuit Court against Joe Holland Chevrolet Inc.

The suit states the plaintiff purchased a Chevrolet Impala that was in poor condition, has a faulty air conditioner, and has a driver's side front wheel that rides unusually rough and cannot endure normal road travel. After being involved in a car accident and being repaired by the defendant, the plaintiff says the vehicle has had problems ever since.

The defendant is accused of breach of warranty and breach of implied warranty.

The plaintiff is seeking all reasonable sums due, attorney's fees and court costs. The plaintiff is represented by himself.

The case has been assigned to Judge Tera Salango.
