MARLINTON – A Snowshoe property owner is alleged to have failed to connect to a public sewer line.

Pocahontas County Public Service District filed a complaint in Pocahontas Circuit Court against Red Arrow Properties LLC alleging failure to connect.

The suit states that the plaintiff accepted ownership of Snowshoe Mountain's sewage system and began construction on a new, regional area wastewater system in Linwood in 2015. In May 2017, the suit states public service became available to the defendant's home but the defendant has failed to connect the property to the sewer line.

The plaintiff is seeking an order from the court for the defendant to connect to the sewer line.

The plaintiff is seeking a trial by jury, all reasonable sums due, attorney fees and court costs. The plaintiff is represented by Christopher D. Negley and Paula Jo Roberts of Shuman, McCuskey & Slicer in Charleston.

The case has been assigned to Judge Robert E. Richardson.
