WHEELING – A Wheeling business alleges a Hico company still owes a balance for goods it ordered.
Chas M. Sledd Co., doing business as Team Sledd, filed a complaint in Ohio Circuit Court against New River Piggly Wiggly and Steve Meadows alleging breach of contract.
The suit states that New River Piggly Wiggly executed an application for credit and gave it to the plaintiff and the plaintiff sold and delivered goods, wares and other items. The plaintiff alleges Meadows was listed as guarantor.
The plaintiff alleges that as of Sept. 18, 2018, a balance of $5,217.82 remained due and owing.
The plaintiff is seeking all reasonable sums due, attorney fees and court costs. The plaintiff is represented by Arch W. Riley Jr. of Bernstein-Burkley PC in Wheeling.
The case has been assigned to Judge Michael J. Olejasz.
