WHEELING – An Ohio equipment company alleges a Charleston business owes more than $10,000 for equipment rental.
B.E.T. LTD, doing business as Bridgeport Equipment & Tool, filed a complaint in Ohio Circuit Court against Veyance Industrial Services Inc., doing business as National Belt Service of WV, alleging breach of contract and unjust enrichment.
The suit states that the defendant entered into a series of agreements with the plaintiff in January 2017 for the rental of equipment. The suit states that the defendant has failed to pay for the rentals and is currently indebted for the balance of $10,685.37.
The plaintiff is seeking all reasonable sums due, attorney fees and court costs. The plaintiff is represented by Gerald E. Lofstead III of Spilman Thomas & Battle PLLC in Wheeling.
The case has been assigned to Judge Jason Cuomo.
