The Guard Restoration alleges it is owed more than $30,000 for work on New Martinsville property

NEW MARTINSVILLE – A Parkersburg construction and remodeling company alleges it was not paid for work it completed at a New Martinsville property.

The Guard Restoration Co. LLC filed a complaint in Wetzel Circuit Court against Patrick Nice, Wetzel County Assessor Scott Lemley and Bayer Heritage Federal Credit Union. 

The suit states that the plaintiff performed repairs to Nice's home in New Martinsville after a fire occurred in March 2018. The suit states that Nice has failed to pay the plaintiff for the work performed and is indebted for $32,191.22 plus interest.

The suit states the plaintiff placed a lien on the Nice property.

The plaintiff is seeking all reasonable sums due, attorney fees and court costs. The plaintiff is represented by George J. Cosenza in Parkersburg.

The case has been assigned to Judge Jeffrey Cramer.
