CHARLESTON – A shopper alleges she was injured at Walmart because of a slippery substance left on the floor.
Misty Holtzman filed a complaint in Kanawha Circuit Court against Walmart Inc. alleging negligence.
The suit states that the plaintiff was at the Walmart in Kanawha County on April 26, 2017, when she was caused to slip and fall on a liquid substance on the floor. She alleges she sustained injuries to her arms, neck and back as a result of the fall.
The plaintiff is seeking all reasonable sums due, attorney fees and court costs. The plaintiff is represented by Connor Robertson of Weston Robertson in Hurricane.
