Debrich driver is accused of negligence in fatal accident

CHARLESTON — A woman is suing a company driver, alleging his negligence caused a fatal collision.

Linda Ruth Browing, individually and in her capacity administratrix of the estate of Leonard M. Browing, filed a complaint in Kanawha Circuit Court against Debrich LLC and James Matthew Long

The suit states that on March 29, 2017, Leonard M. Browing was operating his motor vehicle southbound on Cabin Creek Road in Kanawha County and Linda Ruth Browing, the wife of the plaintiff, was a passenger in the vehicle. The Browing's vehicle was damaged and Leonard M. Browing suffered fatal injuries when the defendant's vehicle allegedly drifted into the Browings' lane.

The defendant is accused of negligence and liability.

The plaintiff is seeking all reasonable sums due, attorney fees and court costs. The plaintiff is represented by Stephen Farmer of Farmer, Cline & Campbell PLLC in Morgantown.

The case has been assigned to Judge Tod Kautman.
