Law firm claims Jaguar Land Rover sold it a defective vehicle

CHARLESTON — A law firm is suing Jaguar Land Rover, alleging it was sold a defective vehicle.

Meyer, Ford & Glasser PLLC filed a complaint in Kanawha Circuit Court against Jaguar Land Rover Automotive PLC and Jaguar Land Rover North America LLC.

The suit states the plaintiff purchased a vehicle from the defendant that had an odometer reading of 26,854 at the time of the sale on Nov. 14, 2013. The plaintiff was informed on March 22, 2018 that the vehicle had issues needing to be resolved and the plaintiff claims it was then discovered the vehicle had been defective when it was sold. The plaintiff was caused inconvenience due to the cost of repair, loss of use and other damages suffered.

The defendant is accused of breach of express warranties and implied warranties.

The plaintiff is seeking all reasonable sums due, attorney fees and court costs. The plaintiff is represented by Larry Ford of Meyer, Ford & Glasser PLLC in Charleston.
