St. Joseph Grade School alleges parent owes more than $25,000 for tuition

HUNTINGTON – A private school in Huntington alleges a parent has failed to pay tuition.

St. Joseph Grade School filed a complaint in Cabell Circuit Court against Beth Pilcher.

The suit states that the plaintiff and defendant entered into an agreement for tuition on Aug. 25, 2015, and another on Aug. 9, 2016. The suit states the defendant was required to pay the plaintiff for the schooling of her child. 

The suit states that the defendant has failed to pay the plaintiff and is now indebted for the balance of $25,002 plus interest.

The defendant is accused of failure to pay.

The plaintiff is seeking all reasonable sums due, attorney fees, court costs and a trial by jury. The plaintiff is represented by Bernard S. Vallejos of Farrell, White & Legg PLLC in Huntington.

The case has been assigned to Judge Gregory L. Howard Jr.
