Chesapeake Appalachia owes more than $160,000 in fees, property owners association alleges

CHARLESTON – A property owners association alleges Chesapeake Appalachia owes more than $160,000 in fees.

Northgate Property Owners Association Inc. filed a complaint in Kanawha Circuit Court against Chesapeake Appalachia LLC.

The suit states that the defendant purchased real estate within NorthGate Business Park in July 2016 and became liable for association fees charged by the plaintiff. The plaintiff alleges since July 1, 2017, the defendant has failed to pay the monthly fee and is delinquent in the amount of $168,151.60.

The defendant is accused of failure to pay.

The plaintiff is seeking all reasonable sums due, attorney fees and court costs. The plaintiff is represented by John F. Leaberry of the Law Office of John Leaberry PLLC in Lewisburg.

The case has been assigned to Judge Charles King.
