Genzyme alleges Summit Orthopedics owes more than $5,000 for goods

CHARLESTON – A Chicago business alleges a South Charleston company failed to pay for goods it ordered.

Genzyme Corp. filed a complaint in Kanawha Circuit Court against Summit Orthopedics PLLC alleging breach of contract.

The suit states that the defendant ordered goods from the plaintiff, received and accepted them. The plaintiff alleges the defendant has failed to pay the balance due and is now indebted to the plaintiff for $5,367.03 plus interest.

The plaintiff is seeking all reasonable sums due, attorney fees and court costs. The plaintiff is represented by John R. Keating of Amato and Keating PC in Bethlehem, Pennsylvania.

The case has been assigned to Judge Charles King.
