Virginia woman seeks damages from Salt Rock man over collision at Princeton intersection

PRINCETON – A Virginia woman is seeking damages from a Salt Rock man and business over an auto accident that occurred at an intersection in Princeton.

Lisa A. Osborne filed a complaint in Mercer Circuit Court against William S. Blankenship and Cartmill Aluminum & Vinyl Inc. alleging negligence.

The suit states that the plaintiff was driving on an Interstate 77 exit ramp on April 22, 2017, when the incident took place. The plaintiff alleges Blankenship failed to stop at the red light at intersection with U.S. Route 460, striking the plaintiff's vehicle and resulting in injuries and damages. The suit states Blankenship was operating a vehicle owned by Cartmill Aluminum & Vinyl at the time of the accident.

The plaintiff is seeking all reasonable sums due, attorney fees and court costs. The plaintiff is represented by Robert D. Cline Jr., Brian Bigelow and Benjamin N. Hatfield of Farmer, Cline & Campbell PLLC in Beckley.

The case has been assigned to Circuit Judge Mark Wills.
