Lawyer, former South Charleston mayor claims client owes $12,000 for services delivered

PRINCETON — A lawyer is suing a client who allegedly has failed to pay for services delivered.

Richard A. Robb filed a complaint April 1 in Mercer Circuit Court against Jon Nicholas Hager. 

The suit states the plaintiff and defendant entered into an agreement in which the plaintiff would provide legal services to the defendant. The suit states the defendant has failed to pay the plaintiff for the services issued. The defendant is allegedly indebted for the balance of $12,327.13.

The defendant is accused of failure to pay, unjust enrichment and breach of contract.

The plaintiff is seeking all reasonable sums due, attorney fees and court costs. The plaintiff is represented by himself.

The case has been assigned to Judge Derek Swope.
