Watkins Manufacturing files legal action seeking over $7,000 on open account

PRINCETON — A corporation is suing a client who allegedly failed to pay more than $7,000 for goods delivered.

Watkins Manufacturing Corp. filed a complaint in Mercer Circuit Court against Country Power Equipment LLC, Janice Spangler and David Spangler.

The suit states the defendants executed an Authorized Retail Dealership Agreement that stated the defendant would pay the plaintiff for portable spas on Dec. 31, 2005. The defendant ordered the goods from the plaintiff and accepted the goods but has not paid for them. The plaintiff is seeking payment for $7,092.92 plus interest and attorney's fees.

The defendant is accused of breach of contract and unjust enrichment.

The plaintiff is seeking all reasonable sums due, attorney's fees and court costs. The plaintiff is represented by John Keating of Amato and Keating P.C. in Bethlehem.

The case has been assigned to Judge Mark Willis.
