Kanawha Scales & Systems alleges it is owed more than $7,000 for services

PINEVILLE – A company doing business in Wyoming County is suing a group of companies who have allegedly failed to pay for its services.

Kanawha Scales & Systems Inc. filed a complaint in Wyoming Circuit Court against Bluestone Industries Inc., Justice Family Group LLC, Justice Group LC, First United Bank & Trust and CM Energy Holding LP alleging unjust enrichment.

The suit states that the plaintiff's services were retained by the defendants in 2018. The plaintiff alleges that the defendants have failed to pay for the services that have been rendered, which totals $7,175.16.

The plaintiff is seeking all reasonable sums due, attorney fees and court costs. The plaintiff is represented by Steven L. Thomas and Victoria L. Wilson of Kay, Casto & Chaney PLLC in Charleston.

The case has been assigned to Judge Warren McGraw.
