Motorist files suit against Northern Clearing, driver over I-70 crash

WHEELING – A Pennsylvania man is suing a Wisconsin-headquartered company and a Michigan man over a collision on Interstate 70.

Roger Littleberry filed a complaint in Ohio Circuit Court against Northern Clearing Inc., Toby Potter, John Doe individuals and/or entities alleging negligence.

The suit states on April 25, 2017, the plaintiff was driving on I-70 when his vehicle was rear-ended by a tractor-trailer owned or operated by the defendants. The plaintiff alleges he sustained injuries that required medical treatment.

The plaintiff alleges the defendants failed to maintain a proper lookout, failed to maintain control of the vehicle and failed to maintain a safe speed.

The plaintiff is seeking all reasonable sums due, attorney fees and court costs. The plaintiff is represented by David A. Jividen and Chad C. Groome of Jividen Law Offices PLLC in Wheeling.
