CHARLESTON – A Boone County man alleges he was not paid by his employer for all the work he performed.
William Brent Ward filed a complaint in Kanawha Circuit Court against A M Communications LTD citing the West Virginia Wage Payment and Collection Act.
The suit states that the plaintiff began his employment with the defendant December 2013 as a service technician.
The plaintiff alleges he was required to start work at 6:30 a.m. every day, but was not allowed to clock in until he reached his first service job around 8 a.m. He alleges the defendant failed to timely pay him wages due for work he performed prior to 8 a.m.
The plaintiff is seeking all reasonable sums due, attorney fees and court costs. The plaintiff is represented by W. Stuart Calwell of The Calwell Practice LC in Charleston.
The case has been assigned to Judge Louis Bloom.
