BECKLEY – A woman alleges the negligent care of a nursing facility caused her mother to fall and sustain injuries.

Cynthia F. Hoover, durable power of attorney of Elveria M. Faw, filed a complaint in Raleigh Circuit Court against Beckley Health Partners LTD, doing business as The Villages at Greystone; Chancellor Senior Management LTD; and Megan Ward Wilson, residence manager alleging negligence.

The suit states that Faw was a resident at the defendants' The Villages at Greystone facility beginning on Sept. 3, 2017. The plaintiff is seeking all reasonable sums due, attorney fees and court costs. The plaintiff is represented by Jeff D. Stewart, Andrew L. Paternostro and S. Andrew Stonestreet of Stewart Bell PLLC in Charleston.

The case has been assigned to Circuit Judge H.L. Kirkpatrick III.
