Wheeling Coin, driver alleged to have failed to obey traffic control device in Wheeling crash

WHEELING – An Ohio County couple is seeking damages from a limited liability company over an auto accident that occurred in Wheeling.

Joyce Geer-Simms and Phillip Geer filed a complaint in Ohio Circuit Court against Robert Allan Narrish and Wheeling Coin LLC alleging negligence.

The suit states that Geer-Simms was operating a vehicle on April 19, 2017, on Chapline Street in Wheeling when Narrish, who was operating a vehicle owned by Wheeling Coin, struck the plaintiff.

The plaintiffs allege Narrish failed to yield to the right of way and failed to obey the instructions of a traffic control device.

The plaintiffs are seeking all reasonable sums due, attorney fees and court costs. The plaintiffs are represented by Jacob Robinson of Robinson Law Offices in Wheeling.

The case has been assigned to Judge David J. Sims.
