Veterans Contracting Enterprise alleged to have failed to complete Oak Hill work in workmanlike fashion

BECKLEY – A Beckley construction company is alleged to have failed to perform work on an Oak Hill residence in a workmanlike manner.

James Persinger filed a complaint in Raleigh Circuit Court against Veterans Contracting Enterprise LLC and Phillip Cox alleging breach of contract and negligence.

The suit states that the plaintiff entered into a contract with Veterans Contracting Enterprise in December 2017 through Cox for construction work around his home for $136,380.80. The plaintiff alleges the defendants breached the terms of agreement and failed to complete the work in a workmanlike fashion.

The plaintiff is seeking all reasonable sums due, attorney fees and court costs. The plaintiff is represented by Anthony J. Sparacino Jr. in Beckley.

The case has been assigned to Circuit Judge Robert Burnside Jr.
