Mid Atlantic Asset allegedly damaged, failed to pay for rented equipment

CHARLESTON – An Ohio equipment company alleges a St. Albans business failed to pay for equipment it rented.

Southwestern Equipment Co. Inc. filed a complaint in Kanawha Circuit Court against Mid Atlantic Asset Co. alleging unjust enrichment.

The suit states that the defendant rented equipment from the plaintiff on an open account and damaged the equipment. The plaintiff alleges it has been damaged in the amount of $32,076.30.

The plaintiff is seeking all reasonable sums due, attorney fees and court costs. The plaintiff is represented by James P. Tomasik of Reisenfeld & Associates LLC in Cincinnati, Ohio.

The case has been assigned to Judge Louis Bloom.
