CHARLESTON – A professional payroll organization is alleged to have been operating without a license.
State of West Virginia, ex rel. West Virginia Offices of the Insurance Commissioner filed a complaint in Kanawha Circuit Court against Professional Payroll Concepts Inc., doing business as Personnel Management of WV, its President Krista G. Chitwood and its Treasurer Andrew Rude alleging unauthorized transaction of insurance.
The suit states the insurance commissioner revoked the defendants' professional payroll organization license in July 2018 but the defendants have continued to operate without their license.
The plaintiff is seeking an injunction against the defendants and any other relief deemed proper by the court. The plaintiff is represented by Jeffrey C. Black in Charleston.
The case has been assigned to Judge Jennifer Bailey.
