HUNTINGTON – A Wayne County woman alleges a Cabell County health care provider has not given her all of the medical records she has requested.

Trista L. Copley, natural mother and legal guardian of her infant child, A.C., filed a complaint in Cabell Circuit Court against Dr. Krajekian, Brock & Henderson Inc. and John E. Brock seeking declaratory judgment.

The suit states that the plaintiff requested medical and/or dental records, including the X-rays, of A.C. from the defendant. The plaintiff alleges her counsel received an affidavit of the CEO of Mountain State Oral and Facial Surgery that stated all records were provided, but she alleges the X-rays and/or dental radiology films were not produced. She alleges the defendants have refused to provide the information.

The plaintiff is seeking an order from the court for the defendants to provide all the records, attorney fees and court costs. The plaintiff is represented by J. Michael Ranson and Cynthia M. Ranson of Ranson Law Offices PLLC in Charleston and G. Patrick Jacobs of Jacobs Law Office in Charleston.

The case has been assigned to Judge Paul Farrell.
