By Carrie Bradon | Jun 26, 2019

HUNTINGTON – A Huntington woman alleges she was injured while shopping at Walmart because she slipped in liquid on the floor.

Danielle Watts and Bradley Watts filed a complaint in Cabell Circuit Court against Walmart Stores East LP alleging negligence.

The suit states that Danielle Watts was at the Walmart at U.S. Route 60 on Oct. 8, 2017, and slipped on a liquid on the floor of the store and was injured. The suit states the liquid may have been from a roof leak or the air conditioning system.

The plaintiffs allege the defendant failed to warn of the condition and failed to correct it.

The plaintiffs are seeking all reasonable sums due, attorney fees and court costs. The plaintiffs are represented by Paul E. Biser of Fredeking & Biser Law Offices in Huntington.

The case has been assigned to Judge Paul Farrell.
