Employers' Innovative Network alleges it is owed more than $50,000 for its services

CHARLESTON – A Cross Lanes employer services company is suing a client who has allegedly failed to pay it more than $50,000.

Employers' Innovative Network LLC filed a complaint in Kanawha Circuit Court against SF Contracting and Shannon Burnett alleging failure to pay.

The suit states that the plaintiff agreed to provide the defendants with professional employer services. The plaintiff alleges it performed all or most of the services in accordance with the agreement and sent invoices. The plaintiff alleges the defendants breached the agreement and failed to pay $50,230.22.

The plaintiff is seeking all reasonable sums due, attorney fees and court costs. The plaintiff is represented by Kevin L. Carr and Mitchell J. Rhein of Spilman Thomas & Battle PLLC in Charleston.

The case has been assigned to Judge Carrie Webster.
