Hometown Transportation owes unpaid wages, former employee alleges

MOUNDSVILLE – A former employee of a Marshall County company alleges he is owed unpaid wages.

David Seum filed a complaint in Marshall Circuit Court against Hometown Transportation LLC alleging violation of the Wage Payment and Collection Act.

The suit states that the plaintiff was employed by the defendant from May 2017 to September 2017. The plaintiff alleges he was not paid for all of the hours he worked during his employment and that he did not receive the wages he was owed in a timely manner after he left his employment.

The plaintiff is seeking his lost wages, attorney fees and court costs. The plaintiff is represented by Sandra K. Law of Schrader Companion Duff and Law in Wheeling.

The case has been assigned to Circuit Judge David Hummel.
