HUNTINGTON — A woman is suing McDonald's, alleging that she was caused to trip and fall over a curb in its parking lot.
Judy Aleif filed a complaint in Cabell Circuit Court against McDonald's USA LLC.
The suit states the plaintiff was at the defendant's property on Fifth Avenue in Huntington on June 2, 2017 when the incident occurred. The plaintiff alleges she was caused to trip and fall on the concrete handicap curb, as it was not clearly marked. The plaintiff claims she has been caused to suffer severe and permanent right shoulder injuries.
The defendant is accused of negligence.
The plaintiff is seeking all reasonable sums due, attorney fees and court costs. The plaintiff is represented by Jon Hoover of Hoover Law in Barboursville.
