WEST VIRGINIA GOVERNOR'S OFFICE: Gov. Justice orders flags flown at half-staff on July 13, 2019 in commemoration of Jesse Guills, Jr.

West Virginia Governor's Office issued the following announcement on July 11.

Gov. Jim Justice ordered all United States and West Virginia flags displayed at the Capitol complex in Charleston and all state facilities throughout Greenbrier County be lowered to half-staff on Saturday, July 13, 2019 in commemoration of former West Virginia Senator Jesse Guills, Jr.

Guills served as a West Virginia State Senator from 2002 to 2010. Guills was also a veteran, serving as a 2nd Lieutenant in the United States Army.
